The Jeff Galloway Training Program is designed to help people of all skill levels and ages complete a full marathon. Although 26.2 miles may sound daunting, most individuals can go the distance by participating in the program, which advocates a run/walk approach to training that keeps participants injury free and healthy. Best of all, the program provides participants with a group support structure for training, a set training schedule, and expert advice on running-related issues.
When we started the Galloway training program, we were asked to train for the Freedom Marathon in November. Now that the Freedom Marathon has been cancelled, we will be training to support the Shamrock Marathon. I am working on a program to help the Galloway runners training for the fall marathons.
